Terms of use
Last updated: August 21, 2026
The short version
This website is informational. Gatehouse is in development, it is not being offered for sale, and nothing on this site is an offer or a contract. Public account creation is closed — if you are able to sign in, it is because we set an account up for you directly.
What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of this website: the marketing pages, the platform status page, the developer documentation, and the sign-in, sign-up, and password pages for both staff and the customer portal.
They are an agreement between you and Gatehouse ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship based in Kentucky.
They do not govern use of the Gatehouse application itself. Access to the application is covered by a separate written agreement, and nothing on this website creates one.
Gatehouse is not for sale yet
Gatehouse is in development and is not currently being offered to customers. Public account creation is closed. Sign-up forms are still present on the site while it is being built, but submitting one will not create an account, does not put you on any list, and does not create an obligation on our part.
Descriptions of features, capabilities, and pricing on this site describe what we are building. They are not commitments, they may change without notice, and they do not form part of any agreement.
Company names, logos, figures, and quotations shown in the marketing pages are illustrative placeholders used to demonstrate the design. They are not real customers, real results, or real endorsements.
Who may use this site
You may use this site if you are at least 18 and legally able to agree to these terms. This is a business tool aimed at people who operate self-storage facilities, and it is not intended for children.
If you use this site on behalf of a company, you are agreeing to these terms for that company as well as for yourself.
Accounts and signing in
The sign-in pages are for people we have issued credentials to. Do not attempt to sign in with credentials that are not yours, and do not attempt to guess, recover, or take over an account you were not given.
If you have an account, keep your password to yourself and do not share it or let anyone else sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens under your credentials. Tell us at bradleysettle87@gmail.com right away if you believe someone else has them.
We may suspend or close an account at any time, including after repeated failed sign-in attempts or where we believe these terms have been broken.
Acceptable use
Use this site for its ordinary purpose: reading about the product, reading the developer documentation, and — if you have an account — signing in.
Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download the site or its content, except as a well-behaved search engine crawler. Do not point bots or scripts at the sign-in, sign-up, or password pages. Do not probe, scan, or test the security of the site, attempt to defeat rate limits or account lockouts, interfere with its operation, or try to reach any part of it that is not openly available to you.
Our API is an exception to the automation rule, and only that one: you may make automated requests through the documented API, using credentials issued to you, within the limits published in the developer documentation.
Do not copy this site or its content to build a competing product, and do not remove or obscure any notices on it.
The site and its content
We own this website and everything on it — the text, layout, design, graphics, and code — or we use it with permission. The Gatehouse name and logo are ours.
You may view the site and print or save pages for your own reference. Beyond that, you get no licence to our content or trade marks.
No warranty
This site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that the information on it is complete, current, or accurate.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this site, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability to you for anything connected with this website will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some places do not permit these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows.
Changes and availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of this site at any time, and we may block access from any person, account, or network, with or without notice.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what this site collects, why, and who else sees it. It is short, and it is specific about how little happens here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about this site or these terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky, and you and we each consent to those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the change.
